St Kilda City Sports Club originated in 1946 as the Inkerman Rovers playing social football. In 1958, we affiliated with St Kilda Football Club and adopted the red, white and black, before becoming St Kilda City Sports Club in 1978.
Netball joined the Club in 2013, providing opportunities for women in sport, and adding another dimension to the St Kilda City Club life. We now consistently have a minimum of 4 netball teams each season. We formally became St Kilda City Football Netball Club in 2014. In 2025, we re-introduced women’s football to our program and became formally recognised as an AFL Women’s & Girls Chartered Club.
Located at the iconic Peanut Farm Reserve in St Kilda, just behind Luna Park, with two netball courts and the football ground co-located, we are one of the few metropolitan football netball clubs with the capacity to host football and netball games on the same day, bringing a brilliant community atmosphere to St Kilda and creating a family friendly environment around the Club.
In 2026, our 80th year as a Club, we are embracing our strong history, our heritage, and our identity to better represent the diversity and inclusiveness of our Club, and will also be returning to an updated shield logo.
